This Early Landed Vintage Cognac was distilled in Cognac in 1981 and shipped to Bristol, England for maturation in damp cold cellars, thus producing the classic style of lighter and fruitier Cognac so much enjoyed by connoisseurs in the UK and other markets. The late Bernard Hine considered this vintage one of the best from the decade having a beautiful colour, a fine nose of fruit and mushroom and a long and balanced palate with wood and fruit in harmony.
