Delamain are the other leading producer of the Early Landed style and their house style is a little fuller than that of Hine but offers wonderful expression of the Grande Champagne when matured in the UK.
Landed 1983, bottled 2005 - The 1981, possibly the best vintage of that decade shows medium gold in colour, the nose has fruit and well balanced oak together with a touch of mushroom, the palate is a delicate balance of fruit and wood with length and a lingering finish, very stylish clean and complex.
